When you’re stuck in the middle of a tsunami, synonyms and terra firma

I’m in the back seat of a white van in an industrial area of central Taiwan.

As we’re travelling through the mountains in the east of the country, I’m constantly being pushed and pulled by the ever-increasing amount of power and noise.

But I’m not a power-hungry person and am always on the lookout for ways to save energy.

The road ahead is narrow, so I try to find a safe way into the middle.

The traffic is heavy.

We’re being pushed around and we’re being pulled around.

I’m scared to death.

The only way out is through the front of the van.

But this isn’t a typical journey.

There are no roads and the only way to reach the nearest village is by foot.

We need to find some kind of exit, or use the back door to leave.

This is when I realise that the only solution is to go through the back of the car.

I take out my phone and start filming.

It’s the first time I’ve filmed a tsunami.

The road ahead in Taiwan is so narrow that I can’t see what is going on behind me.

We’re going in circles.

At this moment, we can’t use the rear door to escape.

When the car is stuck, I get out.

On the back-seat, I try my best to not let myself be pulled along by the wind and noise, but I can barely do it.

A huge tsunami hits the coast of Japan, November 30, 2019.

After a while, I can still hear the motorbike traffic on the other side.

It’s a very dark time for me.

My heart is beating so fast that it’s hard to hear anything.

I start recording and taking pictures.

In the dark, I think, What if there’s no exit?

I don’t know how I survived.

Just as I finish filming, a large tsunami hits.

It blows my car into pieces.

I can see the ground underneath my car and hear the crunch of glass and the roar of the waves.

“I’ll never leave the island.”

The moment I look at the camera, the camera is in the hands of the police.

They take me to the police station and tell me that I have to turn myself in to the nearest police station.

They tell me to go to a hotel.

For a few minutes, I feel as if I’m being watched by the police officers.

My heart is pounding so fast and I can hear everything, I just can’t stop myself from getting out.

I just have to make it to a police station, but they don’t want to arrest me.

I feel like I’m trapped.

One officer tells me that if I turn myself over to them, they can put me in a cell.

I think it’s a joke, but this is not the first experience that I’ve had in Taiwan.

I was taken to the jail in May 2018.

There are several policemen inside the police cell, waiting for me to turn.

Some officers come out and take off their masks and put their faces in the cell.

They’re all holding the backpacks of their colleagues.

Eventually, the police officer that I’m standing next to opens his hand and I hear the words, “I’ll be right back.”

I think he’s going to take me away.

Another officer tries to get me to move my body to get out of the cell, but it’s too late.

As I’m trying to escape from the police, I hear a voice from behind me say, “Get your hands out.”

I look behind me and there’s another policeman holding my hand in a way that makes it look like he’s trying to pull me out.

When I try, I see the back pocket of his back pocket.

He is wearing a police uniform, but he’s wearing a backpack.

The backpack is full of my passport.

I look up at him and he says, “Go.”

He has a large knife.

I start asking questions and I see that he has a long knife.

Then he takes off his mask.

And this is where things start to get really scary.

What if I get arrested?

Then the officer behind me says, I’ll give you my card number.

I try and look away.

I have my phone out and I’m recording.

His voice is very cold.

He is holding my hands in his lap.

He says, My name is Takashi.

You have a lot of things to worry about.

I don’t have a passport.

Your passport is like the keys to the castle.

Are you going to tell the police?

I say, I will not.

Takashi has a big knife.

His voice is cold.

Before long, he comes back to

What a tsunami is: The history of the world’s deadliest tsunami

The biggest, most powerful, and most dangerous tsunami ever recorded has struck the Pacific coast of Japan, leaving at least 12 dead and nearly 300,000 homes destroyed.

The quake struck at 8:31 a.m.

(1131 GMT) on Thursday morning (12:31 p.m., 1701 GMT Thursday).

The tsunami struck at a depth of 10 km (6.8 miles), according to Japan’s National Disaster Mitigation Agency.

It has so far caused at least $5 billion in damages, according to the US Geological Survey.

The US Geological survey has been unable to determine the exact size of the tsunami’s area.

“The magnitude of the quake is probably much greater than what we saw on the surface,” Mark Buechler, the agency’s lead earthquake forecaster, told CNN.

The tsunami was centered about 7,000 kilometers (4,400 miles) east of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, the USGS said.

Japan’s government has declared a state of emergency, and has ordered residents to leave the country.

It was not immediately clear what caused the earthquake, which was triggered by a nuclear accident.

“It was not a natural earthquake,” Buechard said.

“There was no sign of a tsunami.”

The quake was also felt in China, but it was not as strong as the tsunami that devastated the Pacific Northwest in 2011.

More from GlobalPost: Japan tsunami victims and the next disaster Japan’s Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said he is confident that Japan will be able to cope with the earthquake’s magnitude and damage, and said he will work closely with his American counterpart Donald Trump to address the problem.

“We are in a situation where the number of victims is far greater than that of the earthquake,” Abe told reporters in Tokyo on Wednesday.

“I believe we will be strong enough to overcome the disaster,” he said.

Trump said in an interview with Fox News that he will be working closely with Abe on the disaster, but that he has not yet made a final decision.

“He will be watching,” Trump said.

Buecher, who has been predicting a big tsunami for years, said he believed that the damage from the earthquake was more than $5 trillion.

The earthquake was also the second-largest in Japan’s recorded history, surpassing the largest earthquake in March 2011.

The most powerful earthquake in history occurred in 1906, when the magnitude-7.5 temblor rocked Japan, triggering the tsunami, according the US Government Historical Office.

More: “It’s one of the biggest disasters that’s ever been experienced, and it’s been a very bad year for Japan,” Buesler said.

The United States Geological Survey said in March that it estimated that at least 100,000 people were living in the tsunami zone.

The agency also noted that the earthquake may have caused at most about $5 million in damages.

Buescher, however, said that he expects more people to be killed or injured.
